Dec 2009 review

Ms. Celange Francoise , is a generous and thoughtful 39 year old , taking care of three children by herself and working as a housekeeper while attending professional training to become a dressmaker. She has a wonderful personality and thinks always of her partner and the wisdom her partner gives to her. We had a great interview and I was delighted that we had pictures taken together. She looks healthy and has a pleasant voice that is reassuring to listen to. She is currently attending professional training to become a dressmaker. She needs immediate help with housing and food.

She is struggling with some areas but she is understanding the skills she needs to learn to sew clothes.

” I love this program. I think of my partner always, and want her to know how thankful I am .” Stated Ms. Celange Francois

She wishes to hear more from her partner. She wants her partner to help her with food and housing for her and her children.

The long-term and immediate needs of a person in extreme poverty are far greater than can be solved in a single year. People in Need Partnership focuses on the long-term needs of your partner, though we do provide research and a certain amount of help in other areas. You may enroll in optional programs to provide help in additional areas of your choice. Making a meaningful future possible for your partner is our ultimate goal.

This page may not have been updated with and so may not reflect optional programs created before July, 2009. Contact us with questions or thoughts about any discrepancies or missing information on this page.

“The places where we are genuinely met and heard have great importance to us. Being in them may remind us of our strength and our value in ways that many other places we may pass through do not….The places in which we are seen and heard are holy places. They remind us of our value as human beings. They give us the strength to go on. Eventually they may even help us to transform our pain into wisdom.” Rachel Naomi Remen, Kitchen Table Wisdom
