Expand your circle of partners

People in Need is about creating relationships. The more thoughtful, caring relationships, the better. Here is an opportunity for you to expand these relationships both with your partner, and with your own friends or relatives.

In reading the Profile of your partner you may have noticed that someone close to them is just as much in need as they are. For instance, the children of a mother or the siblings of a child that you are partnering with may not be going to school. Or the mother of a child may be sick and unable to work.

Your partnership is of course focused on helping your own partner. Limited resources are available for providing assistance to their family (though part of your plan is to improve their living conditions to some extent). In many cases, a separate partnership is necessary. If you like, you can initiate this process:

—Send us a note with the name of the person in need and of their new partner.
—Pay $20 for creating the Profile of the person in need. We will then complete the interview and add the photos, just as we do with any other person on our site.
—Find a person to become the partner and sponsor of this person.
