Your partner’s specific plan

Your regular partnership is a first step on a path towards escaping a cycle of poverty and suffering. Achieve a dream! is defined path towards building another life, and acting upon our highest instincts. This unique, transformative People in Need Partnership program is a transformative gift partners may give to each other and the world.

Commitment by partner of person in need:
— Pay the sponsorship fee for five years.
— Read all letters from your partner and occasionally reply.
—Share your own life progress with your partner.

Commitment by person in need:
— Follow the development path described in their Life-plan.
— Communicate monthly with their partner, sharing their personal life as well as practical experiences.

The ramifications of a person in utmost poverty stepping out of the cycle of poverty and suffering, and into a world where they are acting on their highest instincts, are impossible to predict.
This agreement is the forming of a truly special relationship that will be a model for how global change can happen through direct personal action.

People in Need Partnership is based on the idea that what lies within is stronger than the devastating living condition our partners find themselves in. The heart connection is more powerful than global dis-connection. This can flow through to address crucial needs. In the same way, we can awaken the power of a dream.

That is why we hold workshops for partners to explore the meaning of a calling and to design a five or ten year plan to achieve it. It is common to say that people in extreme poverty do not or cannot have dreams for the future. Let us prove that this is not true!

“To my friend I write a letter, and from him I receive a letter. That seems to you a little. It suffices me. It is a spiritual gift worthy of him to give and of me to receive. It profanes nobody. In these warm lines the heart will trust itself, as it will not to the tongue, and pour out the prophecy of a godlier existence than all the annals of heroism have yet made good.” Ralph Waldo Emerson, Friendship
