One of our Haiti partners is named Jasmine Tituste. Her family has received the benefit of rent for six months. This contribution has been sent as an Optional Program by Cathy Dekker, who is the partner of two Haitian children in PINP programs, Naphtalie Jean from Cite Soleil and Falant Jean Louis from Delmas 75.
Jasmine's mother, who is responssible for her family, had been in a very bad situation, as I explained that in my last news. Celine Loyee, Jasmine's mother, was sleeping outside with her family under plastic when it was raining, so that family couldn't sleep and was in danger of becoming sick. I reported this in my newsblog, and Cathy immediately sent $200 US to make it possible for this family to sleep in a safe place. Now this family is very happy to sleep safe. In the photos you can see Celine now in her room with her some of her children, and soon she will bring the other children back from the countryside, as she took them there because she didn't have a room to sleep with them.
This letter below is from Celine Loyee about the delivery of the money to her to rent the room for six months, and the letter has been sent to Cathy Dekker personally.

I am very happy to thank you for the money that you have sent to me to re-pay for my house. I sent you photos where one of the PINP staff takes my interview. Dear Cathy I have brought some of my children to the countryside cause I didn't have anywhere to sleep with them. Now I will bring them back to the room that you rented for my family. I am glad. I don't how to thank you as you are the biggest help for me and my family. You can see the picture of the house. I would like you to think how I am happy for my house. I lived outside with my family and when it's rained I was very wet under rains. One of my children got sick cause of that problem and now he feels okay.
