After the earthquake some of our partners moved to the countrysides, I had possibility to visit one of the countryside which is Bainet a community of Jacmel where I was born, we have three our partners who are living there right now ( Dialine Justale, Fresnel Prudent, and Sciana Monnevil) We brought some food and water for each of them, we also organised a meals for the community of one of my churches. The children are very happy to received the food and staying in the countryside. Fianally they want to stay there for life. Where they live now there is a community school where they can attend classes. Sciana Monnevil explained that" now she is doing well and feeling more confortable to live with her family" . Fresnel Prudent explained that" he is loving countryside than Port au Prince, because there is a lot of trees where he lives, and he has less work to accomplish than when he was restavek.
By the way, I think that after the earthquake, decentralization was beginning with some people who moved from Port au Prince to the countrysides cause danger, they won't be getting back anymore, it is necessary now to develop the countryside by putting classical school, medical care, power, water purification system, proffesional school, Route, and some gouvernment's offices etc... now Haitian people won't be in danger like they live in Port au prince in Garbage, sewage, slums areas etc...People who wants to help Haiti I think it is a very good way to put some action in the countrysides. I am ready to help any instance who wants to come in Bainet and develop this community.
If you want to Help Bainet develop, come to me and I will be your guide. Let me know any question you have.
